Broadband Content Report

Well, time for a new start and a new Blog.

Today, BT made their announcement about abandoning the trigger level scheme - about time too. What they haven't openly admitted is that the BT Board approved the investment in rolling out ADSL to all exchanges a couple of years ago, the rest has been cat plays with mouse stuff. Y'know, using everyone as unpaid sales peeps, raising the desperation levels of people so they would do almost anything for a broadband connection, and making glib announcements and sitting back to watch the inevitable storm.....in a teacup........when they do what they have planned to do all along.

BT are a successful corporate, but watching them play games with the Government and citizens of this country in this way is mind blowing really. Not just their actions, but the way the British just sit back and take it whilst maintaining a stiff upper lip. Well, obviously not all of the population or there wouldn't be so many community networks, so many successful campaigns such as ABC and Broadband4Britain and ADSLGuide, so that's a relief!

Today, received the next issue of the broadband Content Report - definitely one to keep an eye on. Subscribe now!
